ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The catering service is comprehensive and competitively priced. From full English breakfast, through light (or not so light!) lunch, to multi course dinner is available to parties of twelve or more. The catering manager can accommodate exotic menus given sufficient notice. A standard all day package consisting of coffee and biscuits on arrival, soup and sandwiches lunch and three course evening meal with coffee costs £20.00.(one or two course option available). There is a well stocked bar.
Deposits are required and green fees for the entire party are payable before play. Separate cheques are required for catering and green fees.
Dress standards both on the course and in the clubhouse are those normal at many members’ Clubs, casual in the main, although parties are expected to change for an evening meal in the dining room. Tailored shorts can be worn with long or predominantly white short socks on the course (and in the clubhouse until 7.30 pm).
There is a Pro shop and societies wishing to give golf merchandise as prizes are expected to support the home Professional. He will make available longest drive and nearest the pin signs (against a deposit of a size to ensure their return!). He has three two seat buggies available for hire as well as standard pull trolleys, but not clubs.
Several societies visit every year and many of them confirm their booking for the following year before they leave; we take this as a compliment!
